I’ve seen a lot of posts going around social media lately about how Muslims are to blame for this and that.
There’s not actual evidence for a lot of this, though—it’s often right-wing groups or media outlets trying to get attention/sell papers.
It makes me really sad that innocent people get the blame for things that have nothing to do with them.
It makes me even more sad when popular newspapers conduct ‘surveys’ and twist the results.
Before you share something on social media, PLEASE do some research.
Not just of the news outlets that you like, but the ones you may not, too.
You’ll only be able to get an informed, balanced review from reading beyond your comfort zone and getting all of the information before making a judgment.
